An Interior Brick Wall

The clients wanted the look of interior, exposed brick walls in three rooms. To make walls that seemed original, I used reclaimed bricks that dated back to the 1800s and bore imperfections. The bricks had to be halved, yielding two faces from each. I made a traditional lime mortar matched to one true interior wall. Warm, natural looking walls are the overall result.
